Deadline on the payment form

Is there a way for them to come back to their form and make a final payment close to the deadline that we have given them? or would I need to bill them through paypal?

Unfortunately our forms are only able to accept payment at the time of initial submission.  You can allow for the user to return to the form to edit their submission, however this will not allow them to alter their payment. 

You could setup a subscription based payment plan that would allow for your users to pay in installments:

However it is not possible to partial amounts towards a total through the form itself.
