How can I get Email Notification on a PDF that I migrated from Adobe Forms Central?

I have a PDF form that I would like to be able to send out to people and have email notifications when someone fills it out. I can do this for the normal forms, but not for the PDF. What would you recommend I do to fix this issue?

    Hi,

If you could let us know the form you are having trouble with, we will be happy to take a look.  You should be able to edit your imported form in the same manner you would any form created here.

    Hi,

The form in question is "HRF-023 R8" professional development plan template". I don't seem to be able to edit it at all actually.

If you are trying to edit the PDF itself, that unfortunately will not work.  Any edit you need made to your form need to be made in JotForm, then a new PDF copy of your form would need to be created after any edits.  In any case, I cloned your form and was able to make changes and set up a notification.  Though all I see in your form is a column of checkboxes:

This is the form you are having trouble with correct?

I was able to edit my cloned version without issue.  Let us know if you are still having trouble editing that form or adding a notification and we will be happy to have another look.

No, that is not the form, and no it is not just a series of check boxes as you have displayed. I would link directly to it but since it is a PDF I cannot seem to be able to do that. How would I convert the PDF into a JotForm without just rebuilding it myself?

Just to make sure, you tried importing your Forms Central PDF form using our import tool correct?

    https://www.jotform.com/adobe-formscentral-alternative/

Choose "PDF Only" after clicking Import Forms button:

This should allow you to import your forms central PDF form directly to JotForm.

If you have already done so and the form won't import properly, let us know and we will be happy to have another look.

Yes, I was able to import the PDF using the import PDF button. The form is in JotForm as a PDF. It works perfectly fine, except you cannot edit it and you cannot seem to enable email notification.

My apologies, I am still not seeing which form you are working with in your account.  If you could provide us with the URL for the imported JotForm version of your form, we will be happy to have a look.
