Pre populate username field with current logged in user ?Asked by MyInfoDirect on April 15, 2015 at 11:28 AM
I have a Joomla site with community builder. Registration is basic, as well as login [Username,Password]. My question is - How do I get the logged in username to auto populate the username on the form ?
It is unfortunately not possible to import data into your form from outside sources without a fair bit of coding. It is possible to have your fields pre-populated via the URL:
Though you would need a way to construct a to your form that has the current logged in users username inserted. Though it can be done, it would require a fair bit of setup outside of what we can assist you with.
If you have any further questions, let us know and we will be happy to help.
