I am using Jotform to fill out daily activity reports that include varying numbers of pictures. I need to be able to add a caption to or notes about each picture I upload. Is there any way to do this?

    Hi,

I am not sure how you meant to put the captions on the to be uploaded image file in the form.

If you meant the caption be embedded on the image after they were uploaded and submitted using the form, we do not have such functionality on the upload field.

But if you just add a Textbox field in the form, the end-user can put a description about the file to be uploaded and you will be able to see this text description also in the forms submission data or in the submission email also.

Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I did end up adding textbox fields to serve as captions. It works pretty well so far. The only problem is it makes me have to guess how many pictures a user will upload. It would be better to have a normal caption option, or a special upload field designed for pictures, since each form submission will have a different amount of pictures in it.

    Thanks.

If the you set the multiple uploads of the Upload field to ON.., it will allow uploading simultaneously multiple images in one submission.

This will ease on your determining how many pictures were uploaded on that submission.

Hope this help. Let us know if this still will not work for you.

    Thanks.
