Can I send back forms once they have been submitted to be edited?

Asked by Highline on April 17, 2015 at 10:36 AM

We are using JotForm to create our company safety forms. So if, for instance, a foreman submits a site inspection (the form then goes to our safety officer) and the safety officer see's something that needs to be edited, how can he send back that form to the foreman to edit and submit a second time without having to fill out a completely new form?

I have already added the "edit link" option to the auto-responder e-mail that is sent to the person filling out the form when they hit submit. This is supposed to produce a link to the form for the user to click and go back to edit if need-be, however, when I try sending a test e-mail there is no link. It literally just shows up in the e-mail like this:

    Job #

    Weather Conditions

    Muster Point

    Environmental Hazards

    Work at Height Hazards

    Personal Limitation Hazards

    Rigging Hazards

    Activity Hazards

    Ergonomic Hazards

    Access/Egress Hazards

    Control Methods

    Mandatory PPE

    Additional PPE

    Job Completion

I assume you are using the "Test Email" button? To get a better result, you will need to fill out the form itself and click submit. This will give you a more accurate output to what part of the form is working and not.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards.
