How can I include the payment tool fields in a fillable PDF form?

Asked by jloliverjr on April 21, 2015 at 08:42 AM

I have added the PayPal option to my form and the online form works great. however when I export the form to PDF the PayPal fields and production select options are not included.

Unfortunately, fillable PDF forms don't support the usage of payment tools. They're only intended to capture information, thus you won't be able to use payment tools, integrations and widgets in them.

If you want to receive payments in your form you'll need to use the online version.

Also, you should note that free accounts are allowed to receive 10 payment submissions per month. If you plan to receive more then you should consider on upgrading your account to a paid plan.

If you have further questions, please let us know.

Thank you.  Actually I do not need to collect payments through the PDF. I meant to say that I just wanted a PDF that included the payment tools fields so the PDF looks like the online form.  Then the form can be printed, filled out showing the appropriate options, and mailed in with an alternate form of payment.

It appears I will have to create a second form without the PayPal payment fields, creating my own option fields.  Other than this issue it appears this will work for me and once vetted I will upgrade.

    Thank you for clarifying.

Yes, you would need to add regular fields in your form to emulate the ones displayed in the payment tool so they are included in the PDF version.
