Can I delete the uploaded files in a form without deleting the entire submission?

    Hi,

We use a form to upload artwork and order details to our supplier.  We sync the form to a google spreadsheet which is then shared to another googlesheet that we can edit to mark off orders received and outstanding etc.

To keep out data usage on our account tidy (and the fact we don't need to store artwork online), we would like to delete the artwork but keep the actual information in the submissions on our account.  Is this possible?

We don't want to totally delete the submissions as they will then also be removed from our google sheet which will then mess up the sharing between the sheet that syncs to jotform and the sheet we can edit.

SO basically, I want to delete the uploaded images but not the submissions themselves.  Possible?

    Thanks

You would be able to do this by editing the submission.
You can add the edit link in the notifier you've configured in the form to receive a link that will allow you to edit the submission.

Then, you can replace the uploaded picture with a dummy file that doesn't take much space and submit the form again and this will replace the picture in the form.

You would need to use another file because the field is set as required. If it wasn't set that way then you could leave it blank.

Let us know if this helps.

    Hi Raul,

Thanks for that.  That solution works for me!  I can just replace the unused ones with 1kb blank images :)

    Spot on.

    Thanks again.

Is it possible to do this through Jotform API using Javascript for many submissions in one go?
