Is there a way to add fillable fields to my pdf and keep it looking the same? Or does it always create a different style form that doesn't look like the original pdf form?

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform support. If you want to have the form fields filled by users reported to your original PDF, you can use Smart PDF Forms. Let me show you how:
- Go to Smart PDF Forms.
- Upload Your PDF Form.
- You'll be able to connect form fields to your original PDF. When the form is filled, the fields will be automatically reported on your original PDF.
The user will see the form and will fill it out. Once submitted, the original PDF filled with the data inserted by the users will be automatically generated.
A different style/form is needed to create a fillable form to pass the data to your PDF. Unfortunately, is not possible to fill in directly on the PDF with Smart PDF Forms.
Alternatively, you can use Jotform Sign to make a PDF fillable and display it as the original version when is in the online version. Let me walk through it:
- Go to Jotform Sign.
- Upload your PDF document and insert the fields.
- The users will fill in the fields directly on the PDF.
