How to upload 5-10 GB of video file through our jotform and into Google Drive?Asked by Ravi on April 28, 2015 at 04:52 AM
We have a client need to upload more videos into google drive. They dont want to change the php.ini file so we have to handle those files and place it into google drive and after uploading please give the response as JSON object
With JotForm you could upload up to 5GB of size files to your Google Drive, but is not recommended to have such large uploads.
To upload a bigger file, you would need more single file upload fields and set them for the biggest size (5GB) and have the original file split into segments of 5GB.
My recommendation is to have the file smaller than 5GB for about 100MB just in case that the there are not few bytes over the limit and causing the issue while uploading.
This would also mean that your Google Drive would need to allow such amounts of space to be used.
You can see more about setting up the file upload size here: Changing the Upload Size Limit
You can also see here how to set up the Google Drive integration: How to Integrate a Form with Google Drive
In regards to the JSON response. I presume that you would like to have a message about the submissions sent to some specific location, but as this is a different thing and we can only assist with one issue / question per thread I would need to ask you to open a new thread for that and we would be happy to assist with that.
