Where are hosted images stored?

Would the images be hosted on your server or would I need to host them else where?

The hosted Images actually depends on whether you are using our service platform here at www.jotform.com or if you plan on using our jotform engine for your own.

When an Image is uploaded through a form you are using the image is hosted by our servers. In short this would be if say a user uploaded it via the File Upload Field and sent it to you as a submission. If you have any integrations such as drive, box, or even ftp upload then a copy of the image is sent there but the original is still with us.

Now, if you are using a image widget or image field onto your form through us then that is slightly different and with those you have the option to host your own images from elsewhere if you wish.
