My JotForm seems to be hanging on save, won't update last hour and half of edits.Asked by ecofemme on April 29, 2015 at 01:34 AM
The Save icon is continuously rotating, and when I open "My Forms" in a new tab and go to edit my form, it doesn't show any of the edits I've made for the past hour & a half. I'm worried to close the open tab I'm working in with all my latest edits, as I don't want to lose all the work I've done.

Please try also clearing your browser's cache and retry saving the form again on the Form Builder.
I tried it on my end, but so far I could not replicate the same issue. I was able to save/update/edit the form just fine on the Form Builder
I also suggest avoiding this procedure
... I open "My Forms" in a new tab and go to edit my form,..
Make sure you always maintain only one instance of the opened Form Builder in your browser..
If you open multiple instance of the Form Builder, there is a greater chance the auto save will overwrite save versions of the form from the different opened instance.
Let us know if issue remains.
Unfortunately clearing cache didn't seem to help. Attached image shows my stuck Save icon. Should I simply try refreshing the page? I'm just really worried all my work will be lost.
In your screenshot, I can see 2 instance of My Forms / Form Builder is opened. As suggested, please do not use the Form Builder like that.. it will lead to issue on the saving process of the form.
I also can see multiple applications are opened simultaneously... depending also on how powerful your machine is, the multiple opened application could be contributing also to the degrading of the resources available in your machine (memory, processing, network, paging.. etc)
Try closing all other applications and recover resources on your computer by restarting the computer. Then reset or reboot the computer.
After reboot, open only the JotForm Form Builder (your browser) and then do the Saving of the form..
This will allow you to edit/save the form properly.
