Since this is another problem, I have moved this into a separate thread. We'd suggest to create one thread per issue. This would help us track down issues easily. :)
Regarding the problem with making the slider required, I don't think it is a problem. It is a group of multiple sliders with 0 values not "blank" that's why it is considered as valid. I would suggest to set the min value of "1" instead of "0", so users default selection will always be 1 whenever the field is left unattended.
Hope this information helps. Thanks!

I did set the min value to "1" but still managed to proceed to the next question which should not be because this is a required question type. Also notice that I can still slider even if the max total has been reached and it's giving a negative value on the Remaining field.

I also was able to reproduced the issue at the moment.
I was able to proceed to the Next page without touching the Slider widget (it has default 0 and min 1 required)
I currently could not figured out what was causing the Required validation issue.
I will submit a bug ticket report to our higher team support to check into this.
We will let you know here once we have update on the status.

It would be hard to implement required validation on this widget because of its multi-dimensional values.
We have, however, implemented validation for it, which checks if the form user has made any change to the widget.
If no change is made on the widget, it cannot be submitted.
Please check it out - let us know.
