SigPlus Widget is not working. It says plugin is not installed.

i have created multiple forms for my business requiring signature with the Topaz Signature pads.  Today I noticed that the plugin stopped working.  Upon review of the topaz site, it says that the SigPlusWeb plugin was phased out in Jan 2015 for Chrome and Firefox and they have developed a new API to address this.  I have installed both and tried my forms on Chrome, Fire Fox, and IE.  The signature cells on the forms all state that the plugin is not installed.  How can I get my forms working again?

    Hello dqindiana,

Thank you for sharing the information with us.

I did install the plugin and tried to test the issue. Though I cannot test the widget but I did not see any issue or message saying plugin is not installed. Please check the screenshot below:

Let me report it to our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.

    Thank you!

    Hello dqindiana,

I would also suggest you to please try to re-install the plugin and see if that solves the problem.

    Thank you!

I have uninstalled the old sigPlusWeb NPAPI plugin and installed the new Sig Web Browser API.  I have updated windows and chrome.  I am still getting the "Plugin not installed" message.   What browser are you using and what plugin did you install to get it to work?

    Hello dqindiana,

I used chrome browser and downloaded the plugin file form the following location:  http://www.topazsystems.com/sigplusweb.html

Please download the following file and install it before testing your form again :   http://www.topazsystems.com/Software/sigplusweb_npapi.exe

    Thank you!

I have been able to get the widget to work by enabling NPAPI within Chrome's settings, but they are phasing out support for it completely in September. It does not look like the widget works with the sigweb API developed by Topaz. Are there plans to update your widget to work in accordance with their updates? I can provide a signature tablet for testing purposes if needed.

Yes, our developers will work on that if Topaz will continue work on their service and create/finish their new API.

In the mean time I can suggest an alternative such as: Adobe eSign.

As my colleague has mentioned this has been raised to our team working on widgets and I see that they have already checked this thread so as soon as there is any update in regards to this, they will update you here.

Thank you for being willing to participate in testing. I will forward this to them just in case so that they are aware.

How is the Topaz API integration coming along?    I have some frustrated users and I am having a hard time helping them until this tool is working.

    thanks

Based on my knowledge Topaz did not fully finish on the API. Looking at their website I see that their last post was in April 2015 - http://www.topazsystems.com/news.html

Their post on this referenced above: http://www.topazsystems.com/sigplusweb.html still shows that the same would not be available after January 2015 - but I do not see any updates later on.

Following this I can tell you that our developers have kept updating the widget on our side as much as possible, but I will check with them to see if there is any info that they could share with you on this.
