    How can we get multiple documents attached to a query?

    When we try to adjust a file upload field to accept multiple documents the field changes to "Upload a File" from the original "Browse" function. In the submissions the whole question and uploaded files are missing. How can we resolve this?

    To my understanding you have uploaded several files but they are missing, correct?

    I checked your submissions viewer to inspect your most recent submission and found it does contain attached files.

    Please try viewing the submissions while logged into your account for your forms to see if you can find them there.

    If this is still an issue then could you please let us know which submissions you're missing the uploaded files for? We will gladly check on it further if needed.

    The part of the document you have shown above so far is working OK but it only has one attachment to each query. The one we are having problems with has been changed in the settings to allow multiple attachments but when we use this everything that we have attached isn't pulling through on into the submissions section and the whole query seems to disappear entirely.

    Ah okay, thank you for the corrected explanation and I do apologize about any of my previous confusion with your issue.

    I did notice that you have two of them that currently allow Multiple Files. So I believe you are actually referring to this part involving one of these possibly? -

    Is that what you meant?

    Can you please confirm or correct me so that I know I am understanding you properly now?

    Yes.it's.just.the.top.'uploadafile.'requesting.CV's,certificates.and.cards that is our concern.

    Thank you for the update about that.

    When you were attaching the files via that field with the multiple upload on could you please tell us roughly how many files you were attaching to it all at once? 

    Also, what were the file sizes for each of them?

    What file types were you using as well for this field?

    I do not think file size is the issue, our candidates would never be uplaoding more than 10 very small documents of CV's etc.....

    On examining the document today, regarding the multiple upload .'uploadafile.'requesting.CV's,certificates.and.cards - the box has changed colour from orange to grey.  I completed a test & this allowed me to upload several files which is great.  However, when I submitted the form and tried to retrieve it by going to ' My Forms' > Submissions, the test form had not pulled through.  It appears we now have a diffeent problem?

    Could you please advise - thanks

    Update - I can now retrive my test submissions. On completing the form, the upload boxes now appear to work.  However, the problem is now that the section

    'Education & Qualifications' is not appearing when I view the submission. Only one field in this section  (CSCS/CPCS) is pulling through.

    Just to confirm, what you meant by that the section "Education & Qualifications" only shows the field "CSCS/CPCS"? Even after filling out all the fields in that section?

    If you are referring to how to display the header section, texts and fields even if they are empty, then you might need to change your settings here:

    Enable "Allow headers and texts" then disable the "Auto Hide Empty Fields".

    When all the boxes in the 'Education and Qualifications' section are populated then the whole section pulls through, however, when leaving two fields blank ie. 'educational qualifications' and 'recent employment history' (which some users may leave blank)  any uploaded files in the 'please upload your CV' field are not pulling through to my 'submissions'  - even when several documents have been uploaded..

    I've cloned your form for testing purposes. Here are the results:

    1. I filled out my cloned form but left the fields under "Education & Qualifications" section, I did however uploaded 2 files in it. I then click submit.

    2. In my submission list, the uploaded files were shown even after leaving other fields blank.



    I also made a sample submission by filling out your form, it's under the name "Beverly Hills", you'll see that the fields under the "Education and Qualifications" section are empty but I uploaded Test.pdf and Test_file.txt there. It showed in the submission list in your account.


    May I know if you are still having problems? If you do, is the form embedded on a website? Or what browser you are using when making a test submission?
