I have been editing a form and tried to save it and I clicked on save and it seems to be doing something, but I guess it didn't save. I tried to exit the page and it said I had unsaved data so I clicked on save again. I guess it didn't do anything because all my edits were gone! Very frustrating. what can I do?

It sounds like you may have been logged out either by your browser or by our system while editing your form. My apologies if it was our system. If you are ever unable to save your form, log back in to your account in another tab in the same browser. Then return to the tab your form is open in and try to save once again. This usually allows for the save to complete.
If you form was automatically saved at one point, the state should be saved in your revision history. You can possibly restore it from there:
