Referral in Google Analytics is showing submit.jotform.coAsked by pillarmarketing on April 30, 2015 at 07:53 AM
Hello, I have the string appended to my thank you page URL.… This seems to have reduced the problem but not solved it entirely. I am still seeing one or two referrals credited back to Jotform per day. See my screenshot here:
Was there an announcement that told us that you were changing your system and that this could potentially destroy months worth of performance marketing data for large part of your customer base? This is a new problem over the past 12 months… It was not like this before, things were changed without my knowing on your side.
Adding the submit URL (submit.jotform.co) to your Referral Exclusion list would do the trick.
Note, that the form submit domain name might be a bit different, so here are some examples:
We have this method in some other threads with the same problem and it helped. Kindly do the exclusions and update us here for the results.
As for the changes in our system. Well, our developers are working every day and released some patches to the reported bugs and doing changes to our existing features. But I don't think if there are changes in the analytics, would affect how your referral works before. It should be the same. But I'm confident that adding the submit domains to your exclusions will work so kindly try that.
I look forward to your update.
Have you tried this to confirm that it works?
I would honestly tell you that I haven't personally tried it, but some users who had the same issue as yours confirmed that doing so have fixed their problem. Google Analytics is used by many of our users and so far, we haven't received any reports like this.
