What's the advantage of using Zapier over JotForm direct integrations?

    Hi there,

I was wondering what the advantage is of using Zapier to integrate Jotform with other apps (like Google sheets) instead of just integrating the app directly from Jotform via the "Integration" button.  Does it provide more stability than the direct integration?

    Thanks,
    Carri

As with any other 3rd party development Zapier will hold some extra charges and you will need their account, but also, they are committed to connect as many apps as possible, so you are very likely to find some other apps that you can connect to over Zapier, while not over JotForm - at that time.

Now when it comes to integrations that we have and for which you can connect to over Zapier as well, it is important to note that there are some differences between how data is handled by them and us, so if you prefer one over the other, I would see that as the advantage.

A disadvantage would be that there are additional points where something can go wrong - when using a 3rd party service instead of direct.

At this time - with Google Spreadsheets, I believe that the only advantage is that Zapier allows you to connect to the same spreadsheet, while our system, always creates a new one if you re-integrate.

Other than that, there are non that I know of - but could be.

Zapier should have a free trial period so I would suggest testing it out a bit to see which one works best for you.
