What does embed code do exactly?

I asked this question in another way but believe I may have been unclear.  I want a link to my form on my site but don't actually want the form itself on my site. I am fairly certain that is how my web based forms were working on Adobe Forms Central ...  the form was on Adobe and the link opened the form there.  Assuming I'm correct, is that what I will get using the standard embed code?

The standard embed code will have the form embedded to your web page exactly.

However, if you will be using the LightBox and Pop up from the Embed Form tool of the Form Builder, you will be able to have some cool effects for you form.

Above are two ways of embedding your form that will have your form not embedded to your web page exactly but instead a link that needs to be clicked first to show your forms.

In addition to the explanation above, you may also, by the way, use the Form's URL.What does embed code do exactly? Image 1 Screenshot 40

Then, you can use the Form's URL to create a link or a button that will redirect to your form.
