    Understanding of Monthly Submissions

    Good Morning,

     

    My company is thinking of using JotForm in the future, but I want to make sure I am reading the pricing correct and what my understanding is of the monthly submissions is the same as what JotForm means. 

     

    So with the pricing we get billed by the submissions and I assume submissions is number of people who click on the link to fill out the form and submit it to the email address we chosen?  I know this sounds like a dumb question just want to make sure.

     

    Example for understanding.  I can send email A to 1000 people and if only 50 people fill out the form I would have 50 submissions.  However if 200 people filled out the form I would only receive 100 before being flagged to purchase the $10/month plan?

    Hi,

    I believe some of your assumptions are correct. Here's a brief description of how the plan works.

    You have a subscription plan, for starters, you'll have the "Free" plan that is allowed to have the following submission limits: 100 regular submissions, 10 SSL submissions and 10 receive payments, these are all monthly limits. You are also allowed to have a fixed total 100 MB upload storage space for the whole account.

    When you are near any of the limits, you will receive a notification about it. When you reached any of the actual limits, all your forms will temporarily be disabled. You will then have an option to upgrade to a higher plan, OR if you do not like to upgrade you can wait for the submission limits to reset to "0" which happens every 1st day of the next month.

    Submission means when the user fills out the form and clicks the submit button, and it went through to your account, that is counted as a complete submission.

    For the subscription, when you upgrade to a paid plan, you will be billed depending on the payment schedule that you subscribed to, we have monthly, yearly and bi-yearly plans. Please do take note that you need to register/sign up an account to upgrade to a paid plan and to fully utilize our product and services.
