The page on Wix website with the embedded jotform crashes iPad every time, but works on iPhone

I have embedded a JotForm into my Wix account as a simple HTML via an iFrame secure code. (I do have a free account, but once I figure out all the kinks, I am upgrading to a paid account and will be dealing with secure submissions only.)

On my PC the form works just fine, and submissions are not a problem.

However, on my iPad it does not, the web page starts to load in Safari and then crashes every single time. I restarted the iPad and it did not fix the issue.

The form also loads no problem on the iPhone.

I would like to note that the iPads load non-mobile version of the Wix websites, unlike the iPhones that do load the mobile version.

Please, help me figure out what is going on.

    Thanks in advance.

I do not think that this is related to the form itself since our forms are made with mobile devices in mind. I think that this is caused by your website loading something very resource intensive on its desktop version - intensive for mobile devices - so it is causing the crash.

Do let us know however the link to the page with the jotform on your website itself so that we can inspect it and see what is going on with the page.

Also, do let us know what is the model of your iPad that you are using and its iOS version so that we can see if we could possibly match them and see if we can recreate the issue.

    Hi!

http://www.chinacredentials.com/#!apply/c1cgj is the link to the page where the form is embedded.

I have an iPad 3 running iOS 7.0.4.

    Thanks in advance!

I've tested your site using an iPad Air with iOS 7 and the page didn't crash on my side.

The page on Wix website with the embedded jotform crashes iPad every time, but works on iPhone Image 1 Screenshot 20

Can you try to clear the browser's cache on your iPad and let us know if it helps?
Let us know if the issue persists.

Thank you, Raul! But the issue persists, still.

I wonder if there is a difference between the simulator vs an actual device: even with all website data and cookies cleared the browser repeatedly crashes when I launch the page in question.

    Please, help!

The simulator should mimic the normal setup of the device. Have you tried viewing the form directly using its URL? In your case this is it: http://www.jotform.us/form/51186721862155. See if that form loads properly in your iPad. Also, if it's possible, see if you can ask someone with an iPad to view your website and see if they will be able to replicate the problem. It's possible that this might be device specific. We'll wait for your response.
