Can I set a limit of ticket purchases to a submission?Asked by bevbrock on May 05, 2015 at 05:51 PM
We have 2 options for adult ticket purchases, adult and children. I know that we can do a set number of adult and a set number of children tickets; however we do not care how many of each type of ticket is purchased only that a total of 5 tickets can be purchased per submission. Is there a way to do this?
Unfortunately, I am not sure this is currently possible. It is possible to limit a single field or limit the amount available of a product but I personally cannot think of a way to limit the amount to 5 between the two fields. There is no way to validate them against each other. Short of having multiple dropdowns shown based on the selection in the first field, this may not be possible.
Though it would take quite a few conditions to setup, here is a quick version of it:

So it can be done, it would just take quite a few conditions to pull off.
