Upload field is set as required, but not received every time

I tested before sending this email to see if people were just sending the same file twice but that was not the case. As you may know, when you choose to receive the file in .pdf you get a list, lets call it Field1, Field2,...

My problem is with a Field where the user uploads a file to the form. Lets call that field Field4 for explanation purposes.

When i receive the .pdf file in my inbox all seems to be fine, only the Field4 is completely missing from the Form. I am sure that at any point that field was set as "not required".

Is the 3rd question i put out this week and i am sorry about that. Appreciate the support a lot.

    Thank you.

When you said that this is your third question, I thought that it is 3rd one in regards to this, but seems that this is a 3rd question - each with different subject (issue or a question), which is OK - feel free to post as many of them as you need :)

We are always happy to assist and help along if needed.

Now in regards to your issue, it sounds like the issue might be caused by a conflict. For this to be true the form would need to be embedded to your website - either with full source code embed method or with js embed method, but it is best that we check this for you and see the exact cause of the issue.

This will allow us to properly address the issue.

So if your form is embedded somewhere, do give us the link to the page where it is embedded and we would be happy to check it out.

When going directly to the form - using its direct link, and inspecting it there is no way to submit without filling the field - or in case with the upload field, to upload a file.

Thank you for the fast answer and all the ongoing support. The form was always in this page: http://quintadapaz.net/index.php/acampamentos/inscricoes. For any further information dont hesitate to ask.

Once again I appreciate all the work.

    Best regards,

    Wilson.

    Hello Wilson

I've inspected the form submissions and the missing files are all from before May 3rd, so it seems like the field was not required before that date.

I noticed that also the phone number and email fields are not filled in before May 4th which makes me think that also those fields were not required before that date.

I tried to submit the form without filling in the fields and it worked as expected:

Upload field is set as required, but not received every time Image 1 Screenshot 20

I believe the form is working in a normal way. If you notice that in the future you receive blank answers for required fields please let us know.

We are more than happy to assist you.
