Matrix (input type: Text box, Numeric box and Drop down): Still able to submit form even if Matrix is empty but set as required.Asked by wi_registration on May 06, 2015 at 02:38 PM
I used the matrix box under the survey tools. I want to make some of the fields required but not all of them. Is that possible. Also i marked the object as required but it does not produce an error it allow the form to be submitted without showing an error.

I would like to apologize, but this option is not available. Meaning if you set the Matrix as required, all of the fields are going to be required and it cannot be set to a specific field only.

I would have to raise this concern to our developers. Typically, you should be able to set the Matrix required and will not be able to submit the form without filling out the fields of the matrix. However, this only worked now if the Input Type is a radio button or a check box.
I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this have caused you. Please be assured that our developers will take care of this matter and we will keep you posted on this thread. Thank you.
