Form is not submitting stuck on "Please wait..."

    My form gets stuck on Please wait if I choose the cash option.

    Hello stmarkchurch,

    Looking at your form, I have one question. Do you want to allow your users to either pay by creditcard / paypal or cash? 

    You have added a Stripe Payment question with two options "Credit card / PayPal $26" or "Cash $25". Please be noted that in either case the credit card number needs to be input and then only form can be submitted. 

    If you want multiple payment options of cash or credit card, you may like to take a look at the following guide which should help you achieve your requirement: 

    In the above guide, we have displayed PayPal payment question but you can replace it with Stripe or any other payment question.

    Thanks for your reply.

    Yes I want there to be a credit Card option and a Cash option.

    I was using PayPal but decided to go with Stripe.

    I followed that tutorial but have already done this before.

    When I select cash now it's expecting credit card info because I've selected the Festival Fee Item by default.

    If I don't select it by default and a user selects credit card then decides to go back to cash it won't work with a Payment error


    "Payment was unsuccessful. Your credit card was not charged."

    I believe that you are referring to the following JotForm :

    I've cloned your JotForm and tested with my Stripe test API keys. I was able to submit the cloned form without any issue by selecting credit card and then cash option.


    It seems to be an issue with the specific JotForm itself. Generally, when a field is hidden it is no longer a required field. So, when the payment field is hidden it should not validate the entries in it.


    Please try removing the payment field and add it again with conditions to see how it works. Let us know if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to help.

    The cloning seems to be working.

    Not sure why it works if you cone it but oh well.
