How can I clear files from my storage space

I am using jot form to provide an upload facility to my dropbox.  Are the files that are uploaded also kept on your system.  If so how can I remove them as they are on my dropbox and then kept on my system

Yes, the uploaded files in your forms are also kept in your account.

You can delete the submissions that include the file(s) in order to free up your storage space, or you can edit it and replace the file(s) with dummy files (that have a size of a few bytes) so your occupied storage space gets also reduced.

I've looked an my account and cannot see any way to do this, please could you explain it to me

It can be done from a form Submissions page (How to view Submissions). We cannot remove individual files, so we will need to remove form entries in order to delete associated file uploads.
