Form updating without me pasting code into website

When I make a change to my form, it automatically updates my current form without me coping and pasting the code into my website.

My problem is, I was making changes to a form, and people were trying to pay for a class, but couldn't due to me modifying it at that time.

Am I doing something wrong or did Jotform change?

It is normal that the deployed live form embedded on the website will also get automatically updated every time you update/modify the form in the Form Builder.

The only time it will not auto update is if you embed the form using its full source code.

If you can share also to us the URL of your website where you have embedded the form, we will check for further details.

You are not doing anything wrong. The application is working correctly when it auto updates the embedded form every time you make changes/modification  also

It is recommended that you should always finalize first your form - as much as possible.. before you deploy them live.

This way you will not have a conflict when you want to make critical/important modification/update to the form that is already live.

Perhaps if your update is minimal and will not in any way break existing submission data, you can go ahead and edit the form while it is live.

Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for answering my questions.

    The website is

Just click on the "register" button.

I see that you're redirecting your users to the direct URL of your form. As mentioned by my colleague the form will always be rendered showing the latest version, so every time you hit the save button or your form autosaves automatically it will be updated.

What you can do to mitigate this, is to disable the auto-save option in your form in order to be able to control when you'll apply the changes to it (disabling this option will make the updates of your form available only when you click the save button).

Let us know if this could work for you.

I did changes to a clone of my form, so I could develop and test it. Now I'm done and I don't know how to change the old form to the new one.

Is it somehow possible to keep the same link as before and to keep the submissions in that form (old and future new submissions together)?
