PDF Embedder widget: browsers prompts to download the PDF file instead of viewing itAsked by jwrangle on May 11, 2015 at 03:06 PM
I can’t seem to get the PDF embedder to show a preview of my file. How come? Here is the link: https://secure.jotformpro.com/form/51098267486972
Yes, saw it. It prompts me to download the file instead of viewing it in my current browser, Firefox and Chrome. I have consulted our widget team about this and indeed, it shouldn't be the browser action when the widget is used.
A ticket is now created and submitted to our developers for this matter. If there are updates, you should know it via this thread.
For now, you may consider uploading the PDF file to Google Drive or to your Dropbox account. Get the Direct Link of the file and embed it to your form using our iFrame embed widget:
This has now been fixed - the document will not download, but display on your form.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
