Fillable PDF form: Date field validation

I've tested my fillable PDF form and indeed it allows invalid or non-numeric characters in the date field. I'll forward this to our developers as a feature request. We will update you as soon as we hear any news regarding this, but as I have mentioned on the other thread, we cannot provide an expected date for this, as these are reported as a feature request and an improvement. I hope you understand, but I see that our developers have already started researching about how to implement these complex functions in the PDF.

As the fillable PDFs do not translate my form adequately I will not be using PDFs but I imagine other users would appreciate date validation in the PDFs.

For me I would like to see the developers working on an app (or other solution) that works offline and retains the functionality of the online forms.

Hi Charlie,

I see that my colleague ashwin_d have opened a feature request for this one in this thread: http://www.jotform.com/answers/567541. For now, the available solution that we have for offline forms is using the fillable PDF, save the filled out data and click submit whenever a connection is present.

We appreciate all the feedback regarding the fillable PDF, it is a new feature and our developers are continuously looking for solutions to better improve its overall function. But, we are also open to new suggestions for other possible solution, just like what you have mentioned here and in other threads. We have escalated those concerns.
