What happens when my storage space limit is reached?

Are files overwritten? Or is the account suspended until I manually delete old submissions? Or something else?

    A

lso, just so I'm clear, I'd like to understand how/where all my form data is actually stored. It looks like the form data itself is stored on jotform servers, yet image/file uploads are stored on amazon s3. Is this correct?

And... For example, if I generate a PDF to download from within the "submissions" sections of my jotform interface, the file is coming from jotform.com. But the image preview (assuming there was an image uploaded) is being generated from the image that's actually stored on Amazons cloud? Are these PDFs generated on-the-fly? Do they take up extra storage space? Or are they not actually being saved somewhere?

    Hi John,

When you reached your File Storage Limit, your forms will be temporarily disabled and your account status will be set to "Overlimit". You can only restore the limit by deleting your submissions with file uploads to it or by upgrading your account to the next plan to increase your limit.

Note that you have to make sure that backup is already made, either by downloading the submissions and files before deleting it in the form. Otherwise, there's no way you can recover it later.

Your second and third questions are moved to another thread, please check the links below:

Sorry for the multi-question post. Will not do that anymore. Thanks for the input. I look forward to upgrading my service.
