Edit Submissions: Removing the prefix 'EDIT' on the subject line

My only question is whether it's possible to remove the word 'EDIT:' at the beginning of the subject line when the decision outcome email is sent back to the user?

    Thanks for your help

If it is a regular submission, the subject line will not have a prefix "EDIT". I cloned your form and did a test submission, this is how it looks like in my inbox.

The prefix "EDIT" on the subject line will only appear if the submission was edited. So if one of your notifier or autoresponder has the {edit-link} option and the user edited it, then our back-end system automatically adds the prefix "EDIT" in the subject line. Unfortunately, there is no work around for that.

    This feature should be optional.

For those using gmail it is bad news as it breaks the email thread.

Surely you are aware that many of your customers use gmail and many of those have voiced their requests for this change.

Would be much better (if you must keep track of the edit info) to add a line of text at the top of the email body showing that it is an edited submission.

Please forward to development team with high priority.

    Thank you

I will forward this to our developers, however, the priority is determined by the the number of users requesting the feature.  There is nothing I can do to increase the priority.  We will let you know here if there are any updates to the status of your request.

I agree, this would be a beneficial option. We use Jotform for our employee onboarding that requires input from HR, the new hire, and hiring manager, and then final notification sends compiled data to a ticket system so that the several offices who must setup access or provide resources can do their part.
