3) The Address Map Locator looks like a really cool plugin (http://developers.jotform.com/forum/address_map_locator),
Is it possible to select an area on its map and have the lat/long fields automatically filled? Currently, this only happens (in the demo) when I enter an address. Otherwise, it defaults to an address in Alaska. Is there someone else I should contact about that?

The Address Map Locator is a widget that you can add in your form. To add a widget, you can follow this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form.
Here's a test form that I made with the Address map Locator widget on it: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/51335503102944. You can either fill out the field or drag and drop the marker.
For other map widgets, you can check this page: http://widgets.jotform.com/category/mapping.
Do let us know if that helps.

One issue Im having with the test form:
When I drag and drop the marker anywhere in the world, it gives me the following values:
address: 407 9th Street, Craig, AK 99921, USA
Country: UNITED STATES
However, when I enter an address into the Address field, it fills all fields appropriately.
Is there a way for me to drag the marker somewhere in the world, and have the lat/long fields filled with the lat/long of the marker?

Apologies, I have not noticed it at the first glance, it seems like the fields are not getting the correct map details in the marker, and it defaults in Alaska when we moved the marker anywhere.
I'll need to forward this to our widget team to have it fixed. Again, my apologies for this, we'll update you as soon as we hear any news, for the meantime, you can check other similar widgets in this page.
Thank you for your understanding.

Any progress on this? I've tried the app both in the test page and on the form creator and the same error remains.

I am sorry, but we do not have any updates at this time. I can see that the bug has been assigned to one of our developers, and it's been given important priority.
We will let you know through this thread when / if this issue has been resolved, or if we have any notable update regarding the issue.

Hi again guys,
The maps have been working great!
That is, until the other day when it lost the ability to return coordinates based on where the marker was dragged by the user.
Correct lat long values are still returned when an address is typed into the Address line (however, only when that address matches a Google auto-fill suggested address).
Our first record indicating this problem was received July 29 2015 at 6:25pm.
Any fix we can make on our end to make this work again?

This thread is quite old and refers to a specific problem. So I went ahead and opened a new thread so that we can discuss it better. Please refer to this link instead: http://www.jotform.com/answers/631022. We will address it shortly.
Thank you for understanding.

This is now fixed - you should get accurate locations based on Google Maps.
Please check, and if you encounter further challenges, please let us know.
