how can i have the forms send a confirmation email once registrations complete

we would like the form to send confirmation email should we choose, if we are having people use the forms to register for specific events.

To add a response email sent to the person filling out your form, you would need to setup a form autoresponder:

This is slightly different from the notifications sent to you in that it is sent to the address entered in an email field in your form.  This serves as the receipt to your users.
