    Hi,

I love jotform and i always have a premium plan on my account. This time i need to make a form that can be started in the index page of my website and to be continued in another page of the same website. It doesn't help me the page separator feature because doesn't take visitors to another page and i necessary need to send them to a different page due the desing of my website and the form fields.

Now i currently have 2 forms, two different forms, one for the index page and one for the next page. This way it's really difficult to know which entries are from the same visitor, unless i start to review IP's and that's a lot of task to be done. I hope you understand me, and sorry for my bad english.

Thank you very much for the hurry answering.

    Maxi

    Hi Maxi,

You can achieve this by using the custom URL redirect Thank You page.

Basically, you will require 2 forms at minimum. The 1st form when submitted will redirect to the 2nd form. The 2nd form will be pre-populated with data from the 1st form then.

Please check this example form http://form.jotformpro.com/form/31427061944957?

the 2nd form will be populated

Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.

prepopulated forms work with the fancy slider widget?

    This is my form: http://form.jotformeu.com/form/51233073736350?

I've tried to prepopulate fields using URL paramters as i read on this KB:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters

and testing that tutorial is not working for me. i've found the name of the fields are

    q3_input3  (for the first slider)

    q4_input4  (for the second slider)

Even so, i really don't understand how to get this form:

    http://form.jotformeu.com/form/51233073736350?

    to prepopulate this one: http://form.jotformeu.com/form/51244480505348?

Please i really need help on that! Thanks a lot JotTeam!

For the most part, widgets cannot be populated via the URL.  Since they are loaded from a separate source into frame, they function independently from the rest of the form.  Since your sliders are widgets, they cannot be populated via the URL.  Even via the population app, the fields cannot be populated via the URL.

However, something such as the regular "Scale Rating" field, could be populated via the URL:

If you would like to change to the regular scale, rather than the widget version, we will be happy to help you get the pre-population working.
