Can you save a form midway through completion then go back into the survey to finish at another time?

Yes, we have several options for this.

This guide, How to Save Forms to Continue Later, explains how you can save a multi-page form, and finish entering other details at a later time.

The benefits of this method is that the partial submission is saved on the JotForm's servers, and a user can continue filling out their form on a different browser and device. For example, they can start filling the form in Firefox on a desktop PC, and continue later on their Chrome browser on a tablet or an iPhone, etc.

The downside of this method is that it only saves data after users click on the Next button, so it saves data only one page at the time.

We also have another option, explained in the guide How to Enable Auto Fill Feature.

The benefit of this method is that everything is saved in the local browser of the user, and it works even on single page forms. If a user accidentally closes the form, they can simply open it up again and continue where they left off.

The downside of this method is that it will only be saved in the user's browser, so they can not start filling the form on one browser, and finish it on another. They must complete the form on the same browser and device on which they have started. Their data will also be erased if they clear their browser's cookies.

Please let us know if you have further questions, or if you need any assistance with your forms, we will be happy to help.

    Kind regards.
