I want to create a form to ask attendees what they will bring and for them to see what others will bringAsked by jr on May 19, 2015 at 10:24 AM
I am organizing an event that asks attendees to bring an item. To make sure everyone does not being the same thing, I think I want a form that shows the results of others form submission so each person can decide based on that others bring. Is it possible to create a form that shows previous results?
Yes, that's very much possible to achieve. You should create a report and add this report in your webpage. Reports will always display up to date submission records.
You should add a HTML Table Listing report. This guide should help you add a report: https://www.jotform.com/help/209-Create-an-HTML-Table-Listing-Report
When you add a html report, you will be presented with a screen where you can choose which columns you want to be displayed in your report.
Creating html table listing report:
Clicking on Next, will advance you to another window to allow Selecting columns:
Now you will get the report embed code which can be use to show the data in your form:
After that, add a "Text" field to your form and copy the code into the HTML input for the "Text" field:
Then click on "Update" in the HTML window and then "Complete" in the "Text" field to finish adding the report. This will embed the report of your live submission data directly in your form. Here is my test form to show you how it works:
