    E-Signature field does NOT work in fillable pdf form

    Asked by waynenoel on May 19, 2015 at 01:36 PM

    I have read in several responses to people that if they use the "E-signature" field, and not the "smooth signature" field that they can create fillable pdf's that include the signature box in the pdf.

    I have done this and it does not keep the signature field, it converts it to a "text entry" box, where you cannot sign the pdf. Note the typed text only box in the uploaded screenshot.

    Can you please help me with this?

    @waynenoel

    You are correct, the E-Signature widget does not work when fillable pdf forms.

    If you want your pdf form contains a workable E-Signature feature you have to use the Adobe Document Cloud eSign widget, please carefuly read this guide: http://www.jotform.com/blog/148-Announcing-the-Adobe-Document-Cloud-eSign-Widget

    I hope this information helps.
