Is there a way to export a form so that someone else can just import it and start using it under their own JotForm account? I have a client who i created a form for and now they want their own access to it, the only problem is that it's under my account (they didn't mentioned at the beginning the would need access otherwise I would not have done it this way). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for contacting us.

If what you want is to transfer a form to another account, we can do that for you.
We would need to know which of your forms you want to transfer and the recipient account.

Another option would be to clone the form which would leave your form in you account and create a copy of it on the second account. Here you can find a guide on how to do this: http://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL this procedure should be made on the second account.

Based on what you've mentioned I think the transfer will be the way to go since this would also move the submissions to your client's account (the clone method doesn't move submissions). So, please let us know the requested information and we'll proceed accordingly.

    Raul,

Thank you for answering so quickly. You are right, I think having you guys move the form along with the submissions would be the way to go. I have two questions:

1.) If you transfer the form for me how long does it usually take?

2.) Is there an added cost to do the transfer?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

1.) If you transfer the form for me how long does it usually take?

The transfer or moving of forms including the submission from one account to another happens instantly.

2.) Is there an added cost to do the transfer?

There's no cost in transferring. :)

This is a sample request on how to do move/transfer of forms:

I would like to move the form/s [title or form ID] from my account TimTran to account username [recipient of the forms].

Make sure to you are logged in to the account where the form is when doing the request.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you.
