Is there a way to show the current high bid in an auction bidding form?

I'm trying to set up a bid form for an online silent auction for a non-profit. They would like the form to show the current high bid so each successive bidder knows how much has already been bid so they can decide if they want to bid higher. For instance, one item for bid is a vase and the first bidder puts in a bid of $150. When the second bidder selects the form, we'd like to show that the current high bid is $150. So the second bidder puts in $200. The third bidder who comes to the form would then see $200 as the current high bid when they open the form. Is there a way to do that so the high bid updates automatically on the form as each new bid is received?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Unfortunately, we do not have a widget or feature similar to a bidding system that shows the highest amount.

But, we can have a workaround on it. Here's my sample form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/51391166287965?.

In my form, I added a HTML table listing report where all the bids are shown. You can select what columns to show, in my case I chose the Submission date and the Bid amount.

    Here's what I did:

    1. First create an HTML Listing Table report.

    2. I chose the "Bid Amount" and Submission date.

    3. After clicking the "Continue" button, you'll see the report link and the embed iFrame code.

    4. I'll use the "Text" field to embed the report in my cloned form. Click the "HTML" icon.

    5. Paste the iFrame code in the HTML editor.

    6. Click "Update" and save the changes.

Now every time there's a new submission or bid, they'll see in the table list report the current or list of bids made. Although, they need to sort it to see the highest ones.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
