Upload Links in Emails Getting Stripped in Assembla Ticket System

    Hi,

I am trying to integrate JotForms with my client's ticket system called Assembla. The idea is that the customer would fill out the JotForm and JotForm then sends an email with the form information, including the upload, to Assembla via Assembla's email-to-ticket setup. I got that all working fine except the links for the uploads are getting stripped out so that all you can see is the name of the file, but no way to download it. I have been in touch with the Assembla support team, but they have now directed me to your support team. The Assembla support team says they need to know further information about how your emails are generated to see how it is getting parsed in their email-to-tickets gateway.

I have tried doctoring the upload link using the Assembla global markup: https://helpdesk.assembla.com/customer/portal/articles/1480622-using-global-markup#link

But because the links generated by Jot Forms have unique IDs between the form ID and the file name, it does not work for every form submission with a new upload.

I really need to get this project completed so any help you can supply would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Bree

    Hi Bree,

Have you tried switching to text email format instead of the HTML? This will sent the complete URL instead of the file name with hyperlink to itself.

Let us know if this doesn't help so we can assist you further. Thanks!
