    Hi there,

If PayPal is connected to Jotform as a means of payment, does the user get an automatic email (in this case a confirmation email) AFTER SUCCESFUL payment? Or does he or she get an automatic email upon submission of the form? What happens if the payment has not been succesful? Does the user still get an automatic email? Upon unsucesful payment, can you make the users get an automatic email saying their payment has not been received?

    Thank you for your help!

    Hello checkrecheck,

If you have add a "Form Autoresponder" in your form, user will get an email after the form is submitted successfully.

What happens if the payment has not been succesful?

If the payment is not successful or the user does not settle the payment after the form is submitted, the submission is marked a "Incomplete payment". You may like to take a look at the following guide for more information on incomplete payments:  http://www.jotform.com/help/272-Paypal-Incomplete-Payments-FAQ

Upon unsucesful payment, can you make the users get an automatic email saying their payment has not been received?

Do you mean to say that you want to inform the user who submitted the form? Unfortunately no, the email will not go the user. Form submitter will anyway know that his payment was not successful.

Please be noted that if you want to receive the submission email even if the payment was not successful, it is possible. The following guide should help you:  http://www.jotform.com/help/273-How-to-setup-Incomplete-Payment-Notification-E-mail

    Hope this answers your query.
