Notification returning "undefined" on iPad Safari

    I mad this form: 51408781333151 

    I made email notification.

    I use standard (default) contents, only changed title.

    Test emails have message body "undefined". 

    I go back to notification email: content now is a single line with some mark-up and the text undefined.

    So I delete email notification.

    Make new one.

    Same thing happens.

    So this time I copy the default contents to clipboard. Reopen notification: content is single line again. Paste in default content. 

    Does not take: resets to single line "undefined".

    Makes form useless.

    Please help?

    Using Apple iPad 1 running Mobile Safari 5.1.

    This appears to be a problem perhaps caused by your phone. I can see that you are setting the body of the email notification as the following:

    <html><body class="Created on Form Builder">undefined</body></html><pre>

    However, whatever I do, I can't seem to reproduce the issue. Whenever I create an email notification, it works correctly for me in multiple browsers.

    Can you please try using a different browser on your iPad to set the notification, and see if the issue stops or if it remains?

    I do not wish to set the body of the email notification to that. I cannot stop JotForm from putting that in. I cannot get JotForm to put in something sensible.

    No, I cannot, unfortunately, use a different browser on my iPad. Apple doesn't allow any browser that uses their own web parser, except for the proxy browsers like Opera Mini. JotForm doesn't work with Opera Mini.

    All "browsers" released on iPad either are proxy browsers or are forced to use UIWebView, which basically acts the same way Mobile Safari does. So even if I were to use Chrome, iCab, or the Tor browser, under the hood they still all use the exact same parsers as Mobile Safari.

    I finally got it corrected using someone else's laptop. I really don't want to continue doing that.

    I got it corrected by throwing away the broken notification and creating a new one. And after saving the form JotForm had pulled a switch on me and broke my notification again, so I corrected the form again. 

    I really hope it sticks, this time.

    I have inspected your form and I noticed that inside of your email Notification there are field names and values of field from your form. You should get Email notification with fields that are populated inside of your form when user submits your form.
