    PayPal Express integration not capturing funds automatically

    I would like to upgrade my account to Premium but am not sure if there is a reason to pay for this app since it doesn't work well when processing payments.


    As most of my clients are not able to complete payment using their credit card via Paypal and those that do manage still need me to capture their funds, I want to know why this is happening and hot to set my account to automatically capture funds.

    Just like any other order form, your customers has to choose products in your form and submit it to proceed with the payment. If they will not continue with the payment or if they abandoned the payment section, the form will end up in your incomplete payment list.     The only way to capture funds is to integrate your form to any of the payment gateway like what you are currently using, Paypal Express. They need to complete the form to complete the payment process. Those who are unable to use their CC, you can use Paypal Standard Tool instead of Paypal Express. This redirects the form to Paypal where they need to complete the payment.

    You can also setup your form to collect only payments without creating products. Here's how to do it.

    THanks for responding but I am still not happy.. 


    Please tell me how to set up my account so that the payment is immediate and there is no need for "Capture Funds" on my paypal account.


    I dont understand nor want to really why this is happening. Usually when someone pays for somehting on my site, the payment is immediate and there is no need to waste time "capturing" the funds...

    Please be clear about how I need to set up my account to do avoid "Capture Fund" and I will be happy to upgrade my Jotform account..

    thanks again but I already said that my paypal account is set up to automatically receive payments, so there is no need to "fund capture"..

    this problem is only happening with jotform.

    I am able to replicate the issue that you are referring to using Sandbox accounts. Generally this happens when Authorization Only option is selected as Yes in the payment field properties.

    However, I see that the option is selected as No on your JotForm. It seems that the issue is happening with PayPal Express payments only while PayPal Standard and PayPal Pro payments work fine. 

    Let me forward the issue to our backend team to take a look at the issue. While the issue is investigated, you may use PayPal Standard or PayPal Pro to process your payments.
