Adding default value to Text Area field

When I right click I get this.

If I hold down shift and right click I can past and I see the text there yet I can not edit is and it does not stick.

If you want to add a default value in the text area field, you have to add the texts in the "Default Value" option. View this screenshot on how to do it:
