How can I clone a form AND its responses?

I would like to create a review copy of the proposals we received, but my reviewers don't need all of the information submitted. Is it possible to clone the original form AND its responses, so that I can remove the questions/fields that the reviewers don't need, while still preserving the original responses (which we need for administrative purposes)?

I have already tried using Excel/Word to do this, by exporting my responses and creating a mail merge. While this worked, it took a lot of time reformatting the responses. I'm trying to find a faster way.

We do not provide functionality to directly clone submissions. Cloning a form will only clone the form itself, the submissions remain with the original form only.

However, I believe we can help you achieve your goal. You can export the submissions from your original form, and then use our Import App to easily import your Excel or CSV data into your cloned forms.

You can refer to the above linked guides for details.

Please let us know if you need further help with importing your submissions along the way, or kindly open a new thread if you have other questions or problems with your forms. We will be happy to help you.

I cloned a form, but when I went to the input forms app, the name of my cloned form didn't pop up on the list to select. Is there something I need to do to make that cloned form appear in the list of available forms for input?

Never mind...It's there now. I guess I didn't wait long enough before trying it.

    Hello again.

I have just gotten back to your thread. I am very glad to hear that you've managed to sort it out.

Yes, our apps sometimes need a little time to refresh and update their list, but it usually happens very quickly. Reloading the page helps, or sometimes logging out and back into your account makes them pull the latest information.

Glad you've got the hang of it, please don't hesitate to contact us if you run into any issues along the way. As always, we are here to help.
