This is kind of absurd.

This is kind of absurd. Wouldn't it be cleaner to just show copy and past with hours and then a minutes field?

This is a re-post of a comment on How to Add a Time-Only Field

    Hi Vogeld,

We understand that you want a simple system that's easy to use and works every time, but sorry to say we don't have that ease of feature yet. Please bear in mind that we will not stop maintaining and improving our product's and service's quality, we'll just let you know once the feature is up.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

Thanks for your suggestion but I had already considered that (I'm the author of the article in question) and realized that it would result in the time component in the submission records of the form being split into two columns. Then there's the colon to consider: It would either have to be included after each last digit in the "Hours" dropdown or before each first digit in the "Minutes" one, neither of which would be visually appealing. The only alternative would be to embed the full source of the form and then edit the formatting to suit but we're supposed to be "The Easiest Form Builder" and editing source code isn't exactly easy for everyone.

I think the ideal scenario would be to have the option of not displaying the date in "Date Time" fields. (There's already an option to display just the date. So why isn't there also one to display just the time?) Additionally, both the "Hour" and "Minutes" text boxes should be dropdowns and a colon should be substituted for the slash between them:

I will submit a request for these changes but I cannot state for certain if or when they will be implemented.
