How can I insert multiple responses into one text box?

Hello, attached is the start of a form that one of the support team helped me create.

The way it is set up now, each response goes to a separate text box.

When I tried to have multiple responses output to the same text box, each previous response was overwritten.

I would like each response to be added to the same text box.  Each response added as a new line below the previous.

Can someone give me a hand?

    Thanks! Scott

I would like to clarify about this issue that you're having.

When I tried to have multiple responses output to the same text box, each previous response was overwritten.

You can see that the left side was filled with the value of red. Now on the 1.a response field, it was updated with a text of "Please paint the left side of the card RED."

Now if you type a value on the field that is asking about the right side of the car, here's what you'll get.

So we need to know, where is the textbox or textarea you would like these value to appear? Right now, it is on 1.a response.

Would you like to combine the answer of left and right paint?

We'll wait for your reply. Thank you.

    Thank you for your help.

After the user responds to both questions 1a and 1b, I would like the text box '1a Response' to display both responses together in the same text box as:

    - please paint the left side of the car red

    - please paint the right side of the car green

Right now, the response to question 1a displays correctly at first, but when the user fills out 1b, then the response to 1a disappears.

(I have no need for a separate text box '1b response')

    Hope that made sense!

    Scott

    Hello Scott,

The idea definitely make sense, however when working with condition it generates a conflict, that is why when your user fills out 1b, then the response to 1a disappears, this is because 1b condition replaces 1a answer.

I have cloned your form, here you are the link: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/51495270254960

Please take a look at the test:

    Here you are the conditions:

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you for your reply.

No, that will not work for what I require.

I need to be able to consolidate all of the responses so that the user can COPY and PASTE into a WORD document in one step.

Is there a way to consolidate all of the responses for the user to be able to do this?

    Thank you again,

    Scott

I have enhanced the above forms and hope it meets your requirement.

I have two temporary textboxes that get the two colors, when the textboxes are both filled he information will be copied into the reponses.

You can set the textboxes to be hidden

Here is a link of the for you can clone for you testing

Kindly lets us know if this solves your problem

I have the same issue with the form located at:

    https://form.jotform.com/62296784276167

I want to copy the value from each of the hidden "Warning" boxes along with anything that is typed in to the "Comments" box directly below the associated "Warning" Box into the hidden "Deficiencies" box at the bottom.  I only need to use this so that one person can go in to a grid or html report and easily see things that were marked missing or damaged.

I wrote the rules in like I assumed that I should, but each item overwrites the last.  I need all of them listed together.

Thanks and sorry to add on to this thread, but it is spot on what I am dealing with.
