Can I enter 9000 items in a dropdown field?

Asked by emilio@triotek.org on May 30, 2015 at 06:46 AM

I need to have (+o-) 9.000 items in a form-dropdown. I copied this items and it seems to work, but in the live form I am not be able to select all. I can see "only" 3.000 items.

I don't think a dropdown field can contain that amount of items.

Have you considered splitting them into sections? For example, we have this widget: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/dynamic_dropdowns that would allow you to nest multiple dropdowns so your users can pick a section that will show specific items for the selected section.

Would that work for your purpose?
