I need to replace forms central, will I be able to use this service the same way?Asked by Debbie Atwood on June 03, 2015 at 10:58 AM
Currently we use form central to communicate between the human resource department and our stores. We now have 15 different stores that use forms central to send me information. I have 5 forms available on a website that is tied to forms central, on the store level; they go to site, complete the needed form, then summit it, once summited it comes to my forms central account for processing. The forms needed to be able to use are; new hire, employee termination/resignation, pay raise, employee information change, and order form.
I have several questions: 1)will I be able to use the forms that I am currently using, 2)will the results of the forms still be centralize into one place depending on the form, 3)will I still receive email notifications when a new form is summited?
It will be a pleasure to assist you with your inquiries. First of all, here is the link where you need to go in order to start the importing process: https://www.jotform.com/adobe-formscentral-alternative/
Regarding to your questions:
1) "will I be able to use the forms that I am currently using"
Yes, basically once you import your forms, you will need to simple get your embed codes for each form, and replace it for each FormsCentral embedded code you currently have in your webpages. So, the forms will still be the same, it just the replacement of embed codes that need to be performed.
Here are some guides that will be helpful for you:
2) "will the results of the forms still be centralize into one place depending on the form"
Yes, all you need to do is to login to your JotForm account at www.jotform.com, then:
a) Go to "My Forms" page and select the form with the submissions you want to view.
b) Click on "Submissions" button to view the form submissions page.
c) The rest is quite intuitive as illustrated in the feature highlight illustration below:
3) "will I still receive email notifications when a new form is submitted?"
Yes, here is a step by step guide on how to setup your email notifications: https://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-Up-Email-Notifications
If you need further assistance in any of the questions, please open a separate thread. We do ask opening a thread per each non-related question in order to assist you better.
