Why does my Newsletter Archive form only partially works?

Asked by on September 05, 2010 at 10:57 PM

I have a Newsletter Archive form (www.arcadiamontessori.com/news.htm), it works for January through April, but May and September only popup a Thank You page?  Why doesn't the from redirect May and Septernber to the newsletters?

    So, let's take a look.

This is what you have on dropdown:

    "September 2010 "
    "May 2010 "
    "April 2010 "
    "March 2010 "
    "February 2010 "
    "January 2010"

This is what you have on the Conditions:

    Redirect to ...omitted.../may2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "May 2010"

    Redirect to ...omitted.../february2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "February "

    Redirect to ...omitted.../march2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "March "

    Redirect to ...omitted.../january2010.pdf.
    When "Newsletter" Equals To "January"

    Redirect to ...omitted.../april2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "April 2010 "

    Redirect to ...omitted.../september2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "September 2010"

    Redirect to ...omitted.../february2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "February 2010"

    Redirect to ...omitted.../january2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "January 2010"

    HIDE Download Newsletter field.
    When "Newsletter" Is Empty

They all look OK. Then I looked at the options and discovered a space character on the fields. I deleted them and changed the conditions.

Then, I tested all of the test. It was fixed! Here is what the conditions looks like on the final version

    Redirect to ...omitted.../may2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "May 2010"

    Redirect to ...omitted.../february2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "February 2010"

    Redirect to ...omitted.../march2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "March 2010"

    Redirect to ...omitted.../january2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "January 2010"

    Redirect to ...omitted.../april2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "April 2010"

    Redirect tohttp:// ...omitted.../september2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "September 2010"

    Redirect to ...omitted.../february2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "February 2010"

    Redirect to ...omitted.../january2010.pdf.
When "Newsletter" Equals To "January 2010"

    HIDE Download Newsletter field.
    When "Newsletter" Is Empty

You should also update the form code on your site.
