    Please tell me about "Forms and Submissions" in JotForm terms.

    Asked by Masaki Kase  on June 05, 2015 at 01:42 AM

    Hi

    I have a question about "Forms and Submissions" in JotForm terms.

    I could not understand this sentence because I was not good at reading English.

    =============
    When you make a Form, Submissions page or a Report "public", you grant Company a worldwide and fully sublicensable license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, publicly perform, and publicly display your Forms and Submissions (in whole or in part) in any format or medium now known or later developed.
    =============

    Does this sentence mean JotForm have a possibility to use the data for other purpose?

    I want to use submissions in private.

    I hope my English is understandable.

    best.

    Hi Masaki Kase,

    The above clause means that if you make a form, report or submissions accessible to third parties either by embedding or sharing the URL of the form, report, submissions.

    The data is accessible to anyone who has the link.

    At jotform we do not use any of our client's data in any place or medium, it is fully owned by you.

    Hope this clarifies the question.
